Mission
TEXAS – Freestone & Limestone Counties CASA advocates for children of abuse and neglect through the efforts of trained volunteers, appointed by the court to ensure them a safe, nurturing and permanent environment.
CASA of Freestone & Limestone Counties serves as an advocate for children in CPS custody and represents the child(ren) in court through trained volunteers in collaboration with key agencies, legal counsel, and community resources. The goal of CASA of Freestone & Limestone Counties is to assure the safety of the child(ren) and achieve permanency that will allow the child(ren) to thrive.
When CASA is involved, the results are remarkable. Children are more likely to stay out of the welfare system, perform well in school and break the cycles of abuse and neglect.
